A stone
sculpture, titled 'Keeping the Wolf at Bay', I have
discovered, by chance, at the corner of Ave C South & 20th
St West in Saskatoon
"These carvings are
from The Rossignol Estate Winery, in Little Sands, PE. I
took the pictures early one Sunday morning in July 2010. The
sun was really intense and I could not set my camera to the
proper lighting conditions to capture the subtitles of the
carvings. I have used the magic of Picasa to change the
colours from pinkish brown sandstone to PEI grey, which
shows more details. Unfortunately I do not know the name of
the author. I meant to go back to the Winery and find out
more about the carvings but unfortunately that will have to
wait until next summer."

"These pictures were
taken December 29th, 2010 at the London International
Airport, (ON). This is an 18-20 metre high which is carved
in details, all over! The beaver is on the ground by
the foot of the tree. Next project for the Carousel Horse
group?"
